Group Work Room
We invite you to use the group study room at the Main Library of the Maritime University of Szczecin.
Rules for using the Group Work Room:

- the room is available to employees and students of the Maritime University who have an active library account,
- the room is accessible during the library’s opening hours,
- the maximum single-use duration is 2 hours,
- the room can accommodate group of up to 25 people,
- priority is given to users who have made a reservation,
- a 15-minute grace period applies to reservations, after that time - the reservation is automatically canceled,
- a projector can be borrowed for use during the reservation - please notify a librarian in advance,
- the key to the Group Work Room is issued by library staff (rooms 504, 506).

Room reservations can be made:
- electronically after logging into the library catalog
- by phone at +48 91 48 09 703
- in person in room 504
The person collecting the key is obliged to:
- present their Electronic Student ID Card,
- keep the Group Work Room tidy,
- return the key in person after finishing work (library staff have the right to check the condition of the room).
The room is equipped with a myBoard Grey Arrow 65" interactive whiteboard, which combines the functions of a traditional whiteboard with the ability to display and edit multimedia content. It operates on a built-in Android system and is compatible with Windows, allowing users to work either independently - without a computer - or in connection with a laptop.

Acoustic cabins
Acoustic cabins are closed spaces with Internet access that isolate outside sounds. They allow you to work in silence or have loud group discussions without the risk of disturbing other people using the reading room. They are an ideal solution for people who need to focus on learning.

- cabins can be used by employees and students of the Maritime University of Szczecin who have an active library account,
- cabins are available during library opening hours,
- cabins can be used singly or in groups (max. 4 people),
- single cabins are located in the Book Reading Room (room 504),
- the group cabin is located in the Periodical Reading Room (room 502),
- no food or drink is allowed in the cabins,
- the use of cabins does not require a reservation.
